Pioneering Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance Technology with the AI-Powered StarSight™ Autonomous System 2.0
The Roborock Saros 10R takes robot vacuum performance to the next level thanks to its next-gen StarSight Autonomous System 2.0. Instead of using a traditional Laser Distance Sensor (LDS) tower module for navigation, the system integrates dual-light 3D Time-Of-Flight (ToF) technology and RGB cameras empowered by AI. The result is an unparalleled 3D mapping of the environment and obstacle detection. With a sampling frequency 21 times (1) higher than LDS systems, the Roborock Saros 10R achieves highly precise space mapping, home navigation, and obstacle detection ever achieved by Roborock. The StarSight Autonomous System 2.0 also uses AI machine learning to detect up to 108 different obstacles (1) including easily overlooked items such as socks, small toys, and loose cables.
VertiBeam™ Lateral Obstacle Avoidance – Clean around unfolded cables
The Roborock Saros 10R also features the brand new VertiBeam Lateral Obstacle Avoidance technology, which solves a big pain point for consumers who have cleaning needs around unfolded cables and irregular walls. This breakthrough innovation adds a wide vertical laser on top of its single point forward laser, lengthening the field of vision of the robot and better recognizing horizontal and vertical surfaces, especially useful around unfolded cables and dramatically reducing bumps against irregular walls or furniture.
Ultra-Slim Design for Ultimate Vacuuming & Mopping Performance The Roborock Saros 10R is designed with efficiency in mind, becoming the slimmest robot vacuum Roborock has ever created at just 7.98cm. This means the robot can reach areas under furniture that are hard to reach otherwise. Its AdaptiLift Chassis also has the ability to independently adjust the chassis height by 10mm (1), enhancing the robot's ability to navigate over mid-to-long-pile carpets as well as crossing standard thresholds of up to 3cm (1) and navigate complex double-layer thresholds of up to 4cm (1).
It also features superb 20,000 Pa suction power (2), paired with its dual anti-tangle system, made of a DuoDivide Main Brush and a liftable FlexiArm Riser Side Brush, which deploys itself to prevent hair from tangling around the vacuum, efficiently channeling debris into the dustbin. The system is SGS-certified and achieves a 100% (1) hair removal rate and a 0% (1), tangling rate, demonstrating its advanced cleaning efficiency and ease of maintenance.
Meanwhile, when fitted, the Dual Spinning Mops can lift up to 2.2cm (1) through the AdaptiLift Chassis, allowing for better air circulation and drying, and preventing the dragging of dirt across clean surfaces. This ensures the Saros 10R always provides a hygienic cleaning process and making the Saros 10R a powerful ally in maintaining a pristine home environment.
Multifunctional Dock 4.0 – Always ready to go
The Roborock Saros 10R can be purchased with the innovative Multifunctional Dock 4.0, which introduces significant upgrades to further streamline the user experience. Key innovations include 80℃ (1) Hot Water Mop Washing, as well as Auto Mop Removal, which when activated through the app, detaches the mop when the robot is set to vacuum only or to vacuum carpets first, preventing unwanted dampness.
Additionally, the dock now supports 2.5-Hour (1) Fast Charge, a new upgrade that reduces downtime by rapidly recharging the robot, allowing it to get back to cleaning in an efficient manner. The Multifunctional Dock 4.0 can intelligently estimate the required power for the remaining cleaning areas and tasks, charging only the necessary amount instead of fully recharging, allowing the device to resume work promptly. The feature, combined with off-peak charging capabilities, will optimize energy usage and enhance overall efficiency.
Simplified User Experience with Enhanced Roborock App
Making cleaning even more convenient, the all-updated and enhanced Roborock App elevates the user experience by using Roborock SmartPlan 2.0, which leverages AI to automatically adjust and customize settings related to the cleaning route, suction power, and water volume based on environmental data and usage history. It is able to reduce suction power during quiet hours and even commands the robot to wash mops immediately after cleaning kitchens and bathrooms. It offers versatile custom modes providing users with more options to tailor their cleaning preferences and schedules. Voice Activation & Cross-Platform Matter Protocol
The Roborock Saros 10R can be set up to become voice-activated through the “Hello, Rocky!” command and simple default instructions such as starting or stopping cleaning tasks. The Saros 10R will also be enabled through OTA software updates with the Matter 1.4 Protocol, enabling it to work smartly with a range of home assistance ecosystems such as Apple Home. Separately, at the time of launch, the Saros 10R is already compatible with voice commands via Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri Shortcuts, and Google Home. It will also support Launcher Widgets, allowing one-tap access to custom cleaning routines, and an Apple Watch app will also be available, allowing for a quick cleanup startup as well as a status check.
